I’m Danielle (she/her). I’m an editor living in Northern California. An avid reader, I was the introvert in the back of the class who seldom spoke up but who observed everything and rooted for the underdog. I’ve learned to speak up. I developed my preference for observation into a keen eye for detail. And I still cheer for those of us who have to work a little harder to succeed.
I am a supporter of the We Need Diverse Books Campaign and a contributor to Disability in KidLit.
I am a member of the Bay Area Editors’ Forum and the Editorial Freelancers Association.

Land Acknowledgment
I live and work on land that has been the home of Patwin people for thousands of years. Today, there are three federally recognized Patwin tribes: Cachil Dehe Band of Wintun Indians of the Colusa Indian Community, Kletsel Dehe Band of Wintun Indians, and Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation.
The Patwin people have remained committed to the stewardship of this land over many centuries. It has been cherished and protected, as elders have instructed the young through generations. I am honored and grateful to make my home on their traditional lands.
